Supermarket trip!

Hi everybody, Welcome back to my blog and now today we are going to be talking about the Supermarket. We went to the supermarket to look at the sugar total on food packets. We went in classes and cars from parent volunteers that took our class. We had a worksheet and went in groups with a parent to find food that was healthy and food that is not healthy. We looked in each section like muesli bars, bread, dairy food, and snack packets. Our main thing we were looking for is what has the most sugar and what has least sugar. We started at different sections and looked for healthy and unhealthy foods. My group started with the Muesli bars and there was tons of unhealthy bars to eat. The main thing we were looking in Muesli bars were the sugar total. We moved on to the next section which was Dairy food. Yogurt is really healthy to eat all the time and then we moved on to snack packets. They looked really yum and our aim was sodium and fat total.

Our last one was bread and the bread was the healthiest foods out of all the sections.  After we finished we had to go to the fruit and vegetable section, but our group took to long so we had to go outside and wait for the other groups. We waited for everyone else outside and then we all got a free lunch box. It was green and it had at the back of the lid of what we eat everyday and what  we eat sometimes. Each class in the syndicate got a free gift card that had $60 to spend on something healthy we could make for lunch! That's what we did on Wednesday 23rd of October. Thank you for reading my blog post and make sure you look at the photos before you go! Bye!
