Home lockdown!

Talofa Everyone
How is everybody feeling, I am really sad that I can't see anyone but next week we
can come back together as a school. This month there are so many birthdays in
my family. So after the lock down is over we are going to have a big celebration of the
birthdays during lock down. My mum and little sister is sick so we are taking good care
of them. It has been very boring but I have tried to do things to keep me company. Stay safe and stay hygienic! See ya later!

  1. Hi there Ruta, it's great to see that you are staying active on your blog. You're right, it can be sad when we don't see people, but it's important to follow these lock down rules so that we can all come back together safely in the future. In the meantime, there are lots of ways to keep in touch with people, like blogging for example! How have you celebrated the family birthdays during this time? It'll be great to have a big celebration, but for now you can try to do little things for each other to make the days special. I hope your mum and sister feel better soon, I'm sure you are being a real help at home. Take care, and keep blogging!

  2. Great to hear from you again Ruta. I like the idea of a big party for missed birthdays at the end of lockdown and when groups can come together again. It is hard for everyone. I hope your family get well agin soon. Have a look at the Syndicate Site Art page for some easter creations you could make. They look fun I think.

  7. Hi Rudy, I am missing seeing my friends and extended family during lockdown too, but I know it's so important to stay apart so the virus doesn't spread.
My husband's birthday was during lockdown. All our family did a Zoom happy birthday get together and sang while he blew the candles out on his cake.
How many people in your family had 'lockdown birthdays'?
I look forward to seeing your distance learning posts over the next two weeks.
Stay safe and I will see you when we are back in school.
